WEB DESIGN for SMEs
How old is your website? As an established small or medium sized business, you probably have had a website for a while. Perhaps it could do with an overhaul?
Maybe your business offering has evolved since your website first went live in the early days of your business.
Running a small business is time consuming and you will probably have many hats to juggle. It’s easy to neglect your website and think that so long as it’s live it’s working for your business. But as your business evolves, so should your website. A tired and out of date website can give a bad first impression to visitors.
- Have you added any content to your website in the last couple of months? If you haven’t it's worth considering it to keep things fresh and in the interests of SEO.
- Is your website mobile friendly? Google will favour mobile friendly websites in search results from mobile devices. Plus more traffic comes from mobile so your website needs to function well.
- Do all the links work? A broken link error gives a bad impression to a visitor or worse they get frustrated and just leave your website never to return.
- Have you got a blog? A blog is a great way of adding fresh content to your website. It’s good for SEO, recent posts reassure your visitors that you’re current and up to date and it’s a great way to showcase your knowledge and experience in your sector.
